Brighter Futures Social Investment CIC are pleased to announce that we have been selected by the Department for Transport (DfT) and the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), as one of sixteen organisations who have been funded  to deliver their “Reach for the Sky Challenge Fund” programme. This initiative is designed to inspire the next generation of aviators and secure the future of the UK aviation and aerospace industry.

Through our ‘Flying Start’ programme, we focus on empowering young people from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds, including women, to become work-ready through our proven Soft Skills programme. We bridge the gap between talent and industry needs, through:

• • Selecting young people with the right motivation and attitude to impress employers.
  • Delivering practical activities on soft skills, so they can contribute positively to the workplace.
  • Opportunities for employers to meet these young people and cherry-pick the best ones to provide practical experience of work.
